Woman are at risk world wide

Anyone who wonders why missions are necessary, just need to consider the devastating impact on women when the church fails to fulfill the Great Commission.
These are some of the shocking facts which were revealed at a focus group on the plight of women in heathen societies:
Slavery
There are over 27 million slaves in the world today, most of them women.
Iran
Iran has one of the highest records of runaway girls and women worldwide with an estimated 300,000 a year. Iran is a nation of 34 million women who face discrimination simply because they are female. Girls as young as 13 years old have been stoned to death and girls as young as 16 years old have been publicly hung. There are 84,000 women living on the streets of Tehran as prostitutes. There has been a 635% increase in the number of teenage girls in prostitution in Iran. Sleeping with 9 year-old girls is legitimised by Islamic Sharia law as a legal “marriage”. Battering women is dignified by references to surahs in the Quran. Domestic violence is common in Iran with, for example, 150 Kurdish women committing suicide, the majority of them by setting themselves on fire, in one nine-month period.
The Easy Way
September 30th, 2011It is easier to live a lie than it is to live the truth. The trouble comes when the lie generates a consequence. It is easier to not go to the doctor to get a suspicious symptom checked out but that suspicious symptom could result in big trouble if left unchecked.
It is easier to tell yourself things are not so bad than it is to deal with the truth when things need real attention.
It is easier to sit in grief than it is try to work your way out of it by praying, reaching out to others, and building a new life full of new relationships, new attitudes, new interests, and new beginnings. The only problem is that when we take the easy way of sitting in our grief and doing nothing our grief continues.
Bring Back Biblical Girlhood

Parents around the world were recently shocked to see pictures in the UK Daily Mail online of girls, some as young as eight, dressed in red and black lingerie performing a racy dance routine to Beyonce's "All the Single Ladies" at a dance contest. Yet even more shocking, was that the parents of the girls involved approved.
Other examples are just as alarming. A Skechers' "naughty and nice" ad featured pop star Christina Aguilera dressed as a schoolgirl in pigtails, with her shirt unbuttoned, licking a lollipop. Bratz and Barbie dolls come dressed in sexualized clothing such as miniskirts, fishnet stockings, and feather boas. Thongs sized for 7 to 10-year-olds, are printed with slogans such as "wink, wink". T-shirts for girls display slogans such as "hot chick" and "boyfriend material".
In the movie and TV series Hannah Montana, very popular amoungst tweens and teens, the heroine Miley, leads a double life as pop star Hannah Montana. As per usual, she has the perfect body and hooks a "cool" boyfriend in the end.

God knew what He was getting into by saving man, He knew of what frame we are, In spite of that He set out to brought us into His presence without spot or blemish, God commended his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. (Rm 5:8)
The Sin of Immodesty
September 19th, 2011Our Loving God created man and woman for a beautiful purpose of life-long companionship and procreation. Like every beautiful thing God created, if used contrary to God’s holy purpose, it becomes ugly and destructive.
The Bible says, “A beautiful woman that is without modesty is like a jewel in a swine’s snout.”
Men and women who dress to publicly display their body or shape in a suggestive or provocative way, either by unnecessarily showing skin or shape, are taking something God designed for a holy purpose and making it the very tool of Satan to destroy society.
Why the divorce rate? What part could you be playing in the promotion of fornication, adultery, rape, incest, pornography, prostitution, divorce, children in broken homes, and even drug and alcohol abuse
Public immodesty fuels all these evils; and God hates every part of it!
